compact with dark green leaves and broad pure white stems, tender & delicious although traditionally sown after the longest day this variety is happy growing in the summer and makes a good baby leaf at this time of the year. GROW: space 15-25cm apart depending on your preferred use. Protect from inclement autumn weather with cloches. EAT: the leaves, stems and flowering shoots can be cooked or eaten raw in your salads. The stems should be added to the pan first as the leaves cook more quickly.
